Välkommen till Galleri Ubbo

Detta hus har använts som vagnshus av det kungliga postverket. Huset byggdes 1742 i kvarteret Ubbo. Enligt en historia så har kvarteret fått sitt namn av kung Ubbe. Det hävdas även att det är densamme som gett namn till Uppsala stad. Under 1940-talet användes huset som lagerlokal för likkistor. Idag fungerar det övre planet som fotogalleri.

This house was shed for wagons used by the royal postal service. The shed was built 1742 in this urban residental district called Ubbo. Legend tells that the name Ubbo comes from the old king Ubbe great-grandson to Noa. It is told that the name of the town Uppsala comes from this king. Around 1940 this shed was used to store coffins. Today we use the upper floor as a photo gallery.

All the images on display are for sale. If you find a photo that you like talk to the gallery host and they will help you with your purchase. The photos are printed on mould made paper by Saunders Waterford with Epson pigment ink. This ensures long lasting color accuracy and the print will stay as color vibrant in years to come.
